Isolating Switches
A battery master switch or switches must be fitted in a readily accessible position as close to the battery as possible. This allows you to control any overheating which can start a fire, and allow you to conduct safe repairs without chance of a shock.

All battery circuits must have an isolation switch, for multiple battery systems a combined switch can be used.
